What is an Adult Day Care Home vs. Adult Family Home?
Basically, Adult Family Homes are houses where people who need care live full time with resident caregivers. Adult Day Care Homes, like Katie Marie's, are homes where those who need care go for short periods of time during the day, so that their family can get a break from caregiving. This allows the family to keep their loved one at home longer. We like to think of ourselves as a short term solution to a problem!
